Create your account

Key uses passwordless sign-in — no passwords to remember.

How it works:

  • Enter your email address on the sign-in screen
  • Check your inbox for a one-time code
  • Enter the code to sign in

If it’s your first time, your account is created automatically.

That’s it. No passwords, no setup steps — just one code and you’re in.

Sign in with Google or Apple

Prefer using an existing account?

  • Tap Continue with Google or Continue with Apple
  • Follow the prompts

Your Key account will be linked to that provider, so you won’t need a separate login.

Stay signed in
  • You’ll stay signed in on each device you use
  • Signing in on a new device requires a new one-time code
  • Existing sessions remain active

What’s on your profile

Your profile includes:

  • Name and photo — how others recognize you
  • Username — your unique profile link (e.g. key.ai/@yourname)
  • Headline and bio — what you do and who you are
  • Location
  • Career details — role, company, experience
  • Ways you can help — what you offer to others
Edit your profile

To update your profile:

  • Go to your profile
  • Tap Edit
  • Make your changes

Changes are saved automatically.

Your public profile

Your public profile acts like a shareable professional card.

  • Anyone with your link can view it (even without a Key account)
  • It includes your name, photo, headline, and bio

To find your link:

  • Go to your profile
  • Tap the Share option

Google Meet

Use Google Meet to automatically create meeting links.

To connect:

  • Go to Settings → Data & privacy → Connected accounts
  • Find Google Meet and tap Connect
  • Sign in and grant permissions

Once connected, Key can perform below for event:

  • Create meeting links
  • Update scheduled meetings
  • Cancel meetings

To disconnect:

  • Tap Disconnect next to Google Meet
Slack

Slack connects your Key communities with your workspace.

What it does:

  • Brings Slack messages into Key
  • Lets you reference conversations without switching apps

Note:Slack is connected at the community level. See the Communities guide for setup steps.

One-time codes
  • Every sign-in uses a new one-time code
  • Codes expire after a short time

If your code expires:

  • Request a new one and try again
Sign out

To sign out of a device:

  • Go to Profile
  • Tap Sign Out

Your account and data remain safe — you can sign back in anytime.

Delete your account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

To delete your account:

  • Go to Settings → Account management → Delete Account
  • Review the confirmation details
  • Enter the verification code sent to your email

What gets deleted:

  • Your profile
  • Community memberships
  • Conversation history

Who can see your profile
  • Community members: Full profile (within shared communities)
  • Anyone with your link: Public profile (name, photo, headline, bio)

Your private notes and internal activity are never visible to others.

Your @username page

Your public profile link (key.ai/@username):

  • Is accessible to anyone with the link
  • Works as your professional summary
  • Can be shared like a digital business card

I didn’t receive my sign-in code
  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Wait 30 seconds and request a new code
  • Try a different email provider if needed
  • Contact support if the issue continues
Can I have multiple accounts?

Each email address can have one Key account.

You can join multiple communities using the same account.

Can I change my email address?

No — contact Key support to update your email.

What happens if I leave a community?
  • Your account and profile stay active
  • Only your membership in that community is removed
Is my profile visible on search engines?

Public profiles may be indexed by search engines.
